Author Guidelines

To submit your work to the International Journal of Biotechnology and Computational Science (IJBTCS).

We accept submissions in various categories. Please choose the appropriate section for your article submission from the list below.

Submission Guidelines

Article Categories:

  • Biotechnology Section: Original research papers related to biotechnological advancements.

  • Computational Science Section: Research on computational tools and methods applied to biotechnology.

  • Development of Tools and Software in Bioinformatics and Chemoinformatics Section: Papers on the development and application of new bioinformatics and chemoinformatics tools.

  • Data Papers: Papers that provide datasets along with detailed descriptions and analysis.

  • Software Papers: Papers that describe new software tools or applications in biotechnology and computational science.

  • Letters to the Editor: Brief communications or commentary on recent papers published in IJBCS.

  • Reports: Short papers detailing new findings or observations.

  • Preprints: Papers that have not been peer-reviewed but are intended for public discussion.

How to Submit

Step 1: Register/Login
If you are a new author, please create an account on our journal platform. If you already have an account, simply log in to proceed with the submission.

Step 2: Choose the Appropriate Section
Select the relevant section for your article. If you are unsure about which section best fits your work, please review the section descriptions above.

Step 3: Upload Your Manuscript
Once you have selected your section, you will be prompted to upload your manuscript. You can upload the manuscript without formatting it according to the journal's template initially. However, before publication, the journal will require your manuscript to be formatted using the specified template.

Step 4: Template Download (Optional)
If you would like to format your manuscript beforehand, the journal provides a specific template for submissions. You can download the template from [here]. If you need assistance with formatting, a fee of $100 will apply.

Step 5: Complete the Submission Form
Fill in the required information in the submission form, including the title, abstract, and author details. If applicable, indicate any conflicts of interest and provide a short biography for each author.

Step 6: Review and Submit
Before submitting, review your manuscript and all details carefully. Once you're ready, click on the "Submit" button to send your article for consideration.

  • Please ensure that your manuscript is original and has not been submitted elsewhere for consideration.

  • Articles will be reviewed by our editorial team and peer reviewers. We aim to provide feedback within 1:3 days.
